Biography[]

In "The Father, The Son, and The Post-It Note", Agent Clappers made a public announcement that in 8 hours, fellow FBI agent, Agent Dunfore would be retiring after a 50-year run as his partner and admitted that even he was a little misty over the fact that his long-time partner would be leaving. Agent Dunfore came up and made his speech. He announced that he was proud of the life he was leaving behind and excited for the life that lied ahead. He said that as soon as he retired, he and his wife Beatrice would be moving to Jacksonville, Florida and spending the rest of their lives together. Agent Dunfore said that his only misgiving was the fear of someone killing him shortly before his official retirement but other than that, he was completely happy. Randall watched him in the audience of that meeting and just awaiting Dunfore's inevitable doom, quoted "Yeah, that guy's fucked."

Later in the episode, Agent Clappers and Kevin were driving, and Clappers wasn't really paying attention to the road. Agent Dunfore walked in front of them and nearly got hit by the car before Clappers slammed on the breaks and stopped the car just short of killing him, 6 hours from retirement. Agent Dunfore was relieved to have survived and went on to rave about how his wife, Beatrice, was braindead and would not have been able to survive on her own if he wasn't alive to take care of her. Agent Dunfore left, planning to go to Outback Steakhouse when he retired with his wife. Kevin witnessed this whole schpiel and like his father, said "Yeah, that guy's fucked."

That night, Dusty jumped out of the FBI building and crashed into the ground, causing a massive crater in the sidewalk. Out from under Dusty, crawled Agent Dunfore, squirming to get free. Unharmed, yet gasping for air, Agent Dunfore said that he was only 4 hours and 23 minutes from retirement and that Beatrice would have starved to death without him and get eaten by crows. Dusty said "Yeah, that's guy's gunna be alright ... I'm just kidding he's fucked."

The FBI arrested Randall for breaking into and destroying their building. When Randall was arrested and taken away, he dropped a post-it note that gave the location of The Legion of Dooooom's headquarters. As Agent Dunfore bent down to pick up the note, a meteor came crashing through the roof, just barely missing him. Shocked over his near-death experience, Agent Clappers looked at his watch and noted that he was exactly 1 hour, 18 minutes, and 23 seconds from retirement and celebrated the fact that he'd live to see the Jacksonville Zoo, after retiring. An Alien emerged from the meteor and said in his own native tongue, "Yeah, that guy's fucked."

Finally, when Agent Dunfore was 13 minutes from retirement, he got into his RV with Beatrice and said that he was ready to go to Florida with her. Just then, he noticed the post-it note that gave away the location of The Legion of Dooooom. He decided that just for kicks, he'd quickly slide over to the location, bust the criminal, and then be on his way, as his one last heroic act on the job. He said that he was so confident that he'd be okay, that he didn't even bother putting on his bulletproof vest.

Inside the abandoned Dippin' Dots factory, Gerald Fitzgerald was admiring his closeness to his goal, when Agent Dunfore came in and said he was under arrest. Fitz pulled a machine gun on him and completely missed every single shot. Agent Dunfore said that his guardian angel must be working overtime as he handcuffed Fitz and claimed that this was the biggest arrest of his career. He then looked at his watch and noted that his retirement would officially begin in 3 seconds. As he counted down the final three seconds, he was halfway through saying "1", when he got shot in the head and killed, with his brains getting splattered all over the wall. It was revealed that the person who shot him was Agent Clappers, who secretly worked for The Legion of Dooooom.

Agent Clappers went to break the news to Beatrice that her husband had died 0.7 seconds from retirement. Surprisingly, Beatrice was delighted to hear this news, as she hated her husband and didn't want to go to Jacksonville with him. However, just then, a small murder of crows started to form around her, suggesting that shortly afterward, she was eaten alive and killed.

Trivia[]

  • His name is an obvious pun on the term "done for", which means that someone is inevitably going to die.
  • Agent Dunfore drives a 1986 Winnebago Chieftain, with a license plate that reads "Eagle 5". This is a reference to the vehicle, "The Eagle 5", from the Star Wars parody movie, Spaceballs, which looks like a normal Chieftain but actually doubles as a flying spacecraft. It is unknown of Dunfore's vehicle possesses such abilities of if it's just a normal Chieftain with that license plate as a joke.
  • Plot Hole: At the beginning of the episode, it was mentioned that Agent Dunfore was 8 hours from retirement. However, an entire night had passed and Agent Dunfore was still working the next day. During the said night, Agent Dunfore said that he was 4 hours and 23 minutes from retirement.
    • Another slightly less impactful plot hole happened when Agent Clappers said that Dunfore was working at the FBI for 50 years. If Agent Dunfore was retiring that day, that would mean he's 66 years (and two months) old, making Dunfore 16, when he started working at the FBI, when you must be at least 23 to work at the FBI.
