The Arrest of Dusty Marlow is a legal incident that happened on December 25th, 2014, wherein Paradise PD police officer, Dusty Marlow was falsely accused of being the kingpin of the argyle meth corporation and arrested by fellow officer, Kevin Crawford and swiftly taken to the Paradise Women's Prison by the FBI. It occurred in "Christmas in Paradise".
Kevin's arrest of Dusty Marlow was seen as an act of national heroism by the town of Paradise and he became so famous for it, that the state funded their town to make it a better place and Kevin was given tons of awards. However, in "Paradise Found", Kevin and Gina found evidence, proving Dusty's innocence and they decided to was best to come clean about the false arrest to set Dusty free. After Kevin outed his heroic act as a fraud, he defamed himself and became a social outcast among all of Paradise, which created a new holiday called "Kevin Sucks Day".
