Gina's Brain Bullet

The Brain Bullet is a bullet that Gina has lodged in her brain, after it was shot into her head by Randall when she was 10 years old. The bullet in her brain deviates her personality, making her a very abrasive, short-tempered, and quick-to-violence, as well as giving her a sexual fetish for fat people. It was first brought to light in "Meet the Jabowskis" and was removed in "PARAD-ISIS" and is now being worn by Kevin as a wedding ring.

Biography[]

In 1998, a 10-year-old Gina was in a speed boat with her family, who was on the run from the cops of Paradise P.D.. Randall threatened to shoot them if they didn't pull over but the family still refused. Naturally, Randall opened fire on the Jabowskis and Mr. Jabowski used his daughter as a shield getting a bullet lodged in her head, causing her to go unconscious. Mr. Jabowski assumed she was dead and simply shrugged this off, saying that he and his wife will just make another kid as he discarded his daughter into the ocean. Gina was discovered but it was unknown who she belonged to. For 11 years, Gina was in a coma before she finally woke up in 2009, at the age of 21. Gina didn't remember anything about what happened before or during her coma and the bullet was still in her brain due to the surgery to remove it being too risky.

In "Meet the Jabowskis", Gina first learned about the bullet in her brain from Dr. Funtlichter, who explained that this bullet in her brain is causing a tick in her personality, making her act unnaturally violent. It also gives her a sexual kink that makes her fetishize fat people. Dr. Funtlichter said that he also has a bullet in his brain, which gave him a fetish for fat people, explaining his obese ex-husband. Gina later went on to discover the bullet's whole backstory on a soul searching retreat, that taught her that Randall shot her but only because her father used her as a sheild.

In "What Happens in Twatemala", the bullet in Gina's brain was getting in the way of her relationship with Kevin, as she kept getting distracted by her fetishization of Dusty and getting her turned off by Kevin's thin body. Gina was fed up with it and went to Dr. Funtlichter to get the bullet removed. Dr. Funtlichter told her that the surgery to remove the bullet only was a 2% chance of survival but she didn't care and went along with it. Dr. Funtlichter gave her the surgery but unsurprisingly started to lose her and on the screen on the wall, the heart rate went flat.

In "PARAD-ISIS", it was revealed that the heart rate going flat was actually from a medical drama Dr. Funtlichter was watching on TV at the time and that Gina survived the surgery. Gina was finally normal again, now finding regular-sized people attractive and no longer being extremely violent. Dr. Funtlichter gave Gina the bullet, which looked to her like a ring. She gave it to Kevin, so that he could wear it as a wedding ring for their upcoming wedding.

Gina was unable to do any real police work at Paradise P.D. like she used to because without the bullet in her brain, now she was completely kind and dainty.

When their wedding was under attack from ISIS, Gina was forced to go back to her old violent self and asked Kevin to put another bullet in her brain, which he sadly and reluctantly did. This bullet caused Gina to be more violent than ever before. Gina killed all of the ISIS members but when new newly regained rage caused her to strangle the one she loved, she realized what she had become and ran off, crying. Where she is now is completely unknown.

Trivia[]

  • It's possible this bullet entered Gina's brain through her brainus, which is an anus on the back of her head that leads to her brain.
  • Judging from the angle that Dr. Funtlichter's bullet entered his brain from, it's safe to say that Dr. Funtlichter was shot in the mouth, most likely through a suicide attempt.
