• The title is a pun on the term "King of the North" from the HBO series, Game of Thrones.
  • Agent Clappers more directly references to this, when he calls himself "King of the Norf" and refers to Norf as a "Whitewalker".
• It's a running gag for Dusty Marlow to complain about the discontinuation of the McDonald's Shamrock Shake.
• Stanley Hopson dresses as and acts like Elmer Fudd from Looney Tunes.
• Karen got some Skippy peanut butter from Costco.
• Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park shows up at the Lovely History Museum.
• Thester had his bodyguards get plastic surgery to look like Saddam Hussein.
• Camaro Bob destroys and later restores Whistler's Father.
• Hopson shows up in a house tied to a bunch of balloons, in reference to the movie Up.
• Karen sings "Cotton-Eyed Joe" by Rednex.
