Pizza is a food made of bread, cheese, and tomato sauce. It has made many appearances in Paradise PD and has even played an important role in some of the plots and, in a way, the overall storyline of the series.
Biography[]
In "Karla", Robby and Delbert used a slice of pizza as food for a leatherback turtle that they stole from the Paradise Zoo.
In "Dungeons & Dragnet", a police investigation of a tree house revealed that some Dungeons & Dragons players were in there, eating cheese-free pizza, on account of being lactose intolerant. Later, at Possum Pizza, Ted had his pizza delivery man send out an order of one cheese free pizza, which Randall used as a clue to lead him directly to the Dungeons & Dragons players. One of the D&D players was a boy named Quohand Dragonsbane, who was majorly lactose intolerant, which is why he ordered the pizza that way.
In "Meet the Jabowskis", Dusty and Gina went to Possum Pizza and Dusty had a massive stack of tons of pizzas. Gina doused the pizzas in salad dressing just to help make Dusty even fatter.
In "Paradise Found", there was a restaurant called "Pizzarut", which was supposedly a Pizza Hut parody that served pizza.
In "Who Ate Wally's Waffles?", one of the shows in Disney+ was called "Pizza Baby" and it was about a baby made entirely out of pizza.
In "The Father, The Son, and The Post-It Note", the final goal on The Legion of Dooooom's chart was "Pizza Party", foreshadowing the pizza-related events of "Operation DD".
In "Paradise PD Meets Brickleberry", BoDean was eating some pizza, when Woody came in and slapped it out of his hand. Randall came back, picked the pizza back up, dusted all the dirt off, and handed it back to BoDean, only to slap it out of his hand again. While getting high, Bullet and Denzel ate some pizza. For her sexual food fantasy with Dusty, Gina used a giant pizza as the head of the bed. She also wore a pizza slice over her crotch like a bikini triangle.
In "Operation DD", a flashback revealed that on December 25th, 2014, The Kingpin held people hostage at the Bomb Factory and demanded that Chicago P.D. cop, Gerald Fitzgerald, give him one Chicago style deep-dish pizza. However, none of the pizza places were open on Christmas other than Little Caesar's, which didn't serve that kind of pizza. Fitz ordered three Hot 'N' Readies and shook up the box, hoping it would pass but The Kingpin hated it and blew the entire building up, killing everybody on it except for Fitz, who was protected by the hurt-locker like crust of the Little Caesar's Hot 'N' Readies.
Later in the episode, Fitz, under the influence of The Kingpin, announced that "Operation: D.D." was to get revenge on Fitz for giving him a bad pizza by turning Paradise into a giant pizza. He did this by activating giant exploding yeast tins on the mountains, which made a bunch of pizza dough flow down onto the city, summoning a flock of helicopter to drop giant wheels of cheese on Paradise, splattering cheese everywhere, and blowing up the town dam with C4, flooding the streets of Paradise with pizza sauce. All of this was encapsulated with a steel borderwall. Finally, he launched a nuclear missile onto the town and blew it up, cooking the city to a perfectly well-done Chicago style deep-dish pizza.
In "Fallout", the cops came back out of the sewers three months after the nuking of the previous episode and saw the pizza-drenched ruins of Paradise. Dusty was very quick to clean up all the pizza by devouring all of it within mere hours.
In "Showdown at the O-bese Corral", Dusty used pizza as a megaphone and then ate it.
In "Blind Drunk", the pizza megaphone was one of the wacky props, seen in the minefield during the Dukes of Hazzard parody.
In "PARAD-ISIS", there was some pizza in a pizza box at Dusty's sleepover with ISIS.
