The Rebuild Paradise Initiative is a project Karen worked on to reconstruct and restore the town of Paradise after its nuclear detonation in "Operation DD". She started the initiative in "Fallout" and completed it in "PARAD-ISIS", only for it to immediately be destroyed again by Dobby.
Biography[]
The Rebuild Paradise Initiative was first established in "Fallout", when Karen made it her first order of business to raise money to restore the ruins of Paradise back it its former glory. Her first act was to have Hamilton play at the Theater, so that all of they money she made from grossly overpriced tickets could go to funding the Rebuild Paradise Initiative.
In "Top Cops", Karen announced that she had officially raised $50,000 from Hamilton tickets, setting the Rebuild Paradise Initiative off to a good start. Unfortunately for her, she made the mistake of trusting Bullet and Ja Rule with the money. Within seconds, Ja Rule blew all of the money and lost it, unbeknownst to Karen. Bullet was able to make the money back by placing bets on basketball games and raising back every penny Ja Rule lost. Eventually, he made an all or nothing bet with Lamar Odom and lost all the money again. However, when Lamar Odom saw that Bullet had a Detective Bullshit Pokemon card, he bought it from him for the same $50,000 he lost to him and admitted that he would have just spent the money on whores and crack anyway. Bullet was able to slip the money back into place without Karen even noticing.
In "Trigger Warnings", Chip Fuckyeah of the NRA funded the Rebuild Paradise Initiative, via bribery by giving Karen a briefcase full of Russian money in exchange for her going back on her principles and changing the city's local gun laws, which made the city a more dangerous place. Karen didn't care about her unethical actions, and just converted the Russian currency to US Dollars and further fund the Rebuild Paradise Initiative.
In "Showdown at the O-bese Corral", the Rebuild Paradise Initiative was jeopardized, when the Dusty's fat cult paraded themselves around town, butt-naked, scaring off potential investors.
In "How the Cookie Crumbles", Karen worked on the Rebuild Paradise Initiative and was so busy with it, she didn't have much time to spend with Randall.
In "The World According to LARP", Karen tried to get some of the newly inherited riches from Hopson to fund the Rebuild Paradise Initiative but Hopson refused to donate even a fraction of his massive wealth, believing this to be a frivolous use of his money. Karen wasn't ready to give up just yet and given that Hopson was technically her grandfather, due to his recent marriage to her mother, Agatha, all she needed was for Hopson to die, which would automatically send all of his money down to her. Karen convinced Randall to make sure Hopson had a little "accident" and find a way to kill him. Randall took Hopson outback into the Forbidden Forest to give him a little "surprise". The surprise was to kill him but his plans were interrupted, when they came across a sex orgy, which Hopson joined in on. Hopson assumed that this was the surprise Randall was talking about and thanked him by giving him all of his money, which, at this point, was only two cents, since he wasted all of it on frivolous purchases.
In "What Happens in Twatemala", Karen struck a deal with Robby and Delbert and build the Twatnugget Casino on Twatemalan land, which she used to raise money for her Rebuild Paradise Initiative. However, these plans were jeopardized, when Dusty started winning all of the games and bankrupting her business. After several failed attempts to rig the games and get Dusty to lose, Karen finally got the money back from him by having him cash in his poker chops for a Pinky Pie scented eraser.
In "PARAD-ISIS", Karen had finally raised enough money to officially rebuild Paradise, thanks to all of the losers who lost more money than they earned at the Twatnugget Casino. As such, Karen worked on having the entire city reconstruction and restored to its former glory. Karen had a big moment, where she cut the red ribbon to Paradise Police Department, officially instating the completion of the Rebuild Paradise Initiative. Unfortunately, the city was only restored for a few seconds before a giant mutated Dobby came by and destroyed the entire city, ruining it even worse than it was when it started, which flushed a whole years worth of work down the toilet, thereby completely ruining the Rebuild Paradise Initiative.
