The Kingpin is a major villain in Paradise PD. He is a notorious crime boss who was blown up by Gerald Fitzgerald. After destroying him, Fitz got PTSD and developed a split personality disorder. One of his personalities was a copy of The Kingpin, which brought The Kingpin back in the form of Fitz. He appeared in "Operation DD". He is voiced by John DiMaggio.
Biography[]
Past Life[]
When The Kingpin was alive, he was a notorious crime lord from Chicago, who the police had yet to capture. Gerald Fitzgerald was especially hell-bent on finally capturing him and putting him behind bars. During his crime spree, The Kingpin was en elusive bastard, who had always found a way to evade arrest and get away with his crimes.
Chicago Incident[]
On December 25th, 2014, The Kingpin held a bunch of people hostage at the Bomb Factory and demanded that the Chicago P.D. give him $100,000,000, a stealth bomber piloted by Mike Ditka as a getaway vehicle, and most importantly of all, a Chicago deep-dish pizza. Fitz was especially thrown off by the last thing, telling The Kingpin how tall of an order that was and how it simply can't be done. The Kingpin said that as a typical Chicagoan, he is very particular about his pizza and that if he doesn't get his deep-dish, it will be a death sentence.
Fitz came in with all of the things The Kingpin asked for but when The Kingpin checked the pizza, instead of getting the Chicago deep-dish he asked for, all he got was a stack of three Hot'N'Ready pizzas from Little Caesar's that were shaken around by Fitz. The Kingpin was absolutely infuriated with this and pressed the button, blowing up the Bomb Factory, killing himself and many hostages. Miraculously, the only person to survive was Gerald Fitzgerald, who was protected by the disgustingly rock hard crust of the pizza.
Gerald Fitzgerald[]
After the Chicago incident, Fitz got PTSD and Multiple Personality Disorder from the traumatic incident. One of Fitz's alternate personas was an impersonation of The Kingpin. Fitz went to therapy because of this and Thester Carbomb IV worked as his psychologist. Thester tried to contain The Kingpin persona by using hypnotism to create a mental prison in Fitz's brain called Pussyland, which he would trap The Kingpin inside of so that Fitz could be free to live his life normally. After he did this, Fitz was deemed cured and he quit his job at Chicago P.D. to get a job at Paradise P.D. so he could start anew. Although Fitz's MPD was under control, he still experienced some symptoms of PTSD.
At night, The Kingpin ran an underground drug corporation in Paradise, where he sold meth. His employees were Terry Two-Toes and Santa Claus, who invented a brand new kind of meth called "Argyle Meth", which was sure to be more popular than any other kind of meth and would bring more money to them since it was exclusive to their business. Argyle Meth brought The Kingpin millions of dollars in sales as it swept the streets of Paradise in popularity. However, he needed to keep his cover in case he was busted, so he had Terry Two-Toes pose as the true kingpin as a red herring and Santa Claus pose as the backup kingpin.
In "Welcome to Paradise", Terry Two-Toes was caught and arrested by Paradise P.D. Afraid that Terry would give him away, The Kingpin snuck into the holding cell at night, shot Terry to death, and then threw out the security footage to conceal the evidence. The next day, the cops found that Terry was mysteriously dead and the security footage was mysteriously missing. The only person who found this the least bit suspicious was Kevin, while Randall and the others brushed it off as Terry committing suicide (with no access to a gun) and the security footage not showing up just because.
In "Task Force", during Fitz's time working at Paradise P.D., he was scared into a coma by a gang of clowns. When Fitz went comatose, his mental self got trapped inside of Pussyland, allowing for The Kingpin to escape and take over his body. The Kingpin pretended to be a comatose Fitz for a while but in "Christmas in Paradise", The Kingpin arose and announced that he would be using his facade of Fitz to take over Paradise. With that, The Kingpin could continue the rest of his evil life, posthumously through Fitz.
Posthumous Villainy[]
In "Paradise Found", The Kingpin worked with Thester, who was pretending to be his evil henchman so he could get into his head and he created a million dollar Dippin' Dots Factory and made a living selling Dippin' Dots, thinking he wouldn't even need to do anything evil, while Paradise was being hailed as America's greatest non-puckered asshole city in Illinois. However, his business soon went down under when Paradise was exposed as a fraud and he went back to his original plans of being evil. Thester helped him by forming an evil company called The Legion of Dooooom, which was comprised of such villains as Frank Flipperfist, Pedro Pooptooth, Edna Dorsaldigits, Puffy the Cigarette, and Pat Robertson. As a villainous team, The Legion of Dooooom would hold meetings and plot schemes in the remains of the abandoned Dippin' Dots factory.
In "Big Ball Energy", The Kingpin's plans to sell argyle meth were cut short when he found out that a new kind of meth called houndstooth meth was outranking it in sales. The Kingpin tracked down Cop Bot as The Kingpin of the houndstooth meth corporation, stole his recipe, and killed him, taking the company for himself.
In "Tucker Carlson is a Huge D**k", The Kingpin and Thester got the highly explosive sodium hydroxide for houndstooth meth but while shipping it back to the Dippin' Dots factory, they were kidnapped by Gal-Qaeda, who wanted to dissolve their dicks with acidic BBQ sauce, using their sodium hydroxide as ingredients. The Kingpin found out that Tucker Carlson was the leader of Gal-Qaeda and he wanted every man's dick to be dissolved so he wouldn't have to feel inferior about his own tiny penis. The Kingpin fought Tucker to the death, sending him into a vat of sodium hydroxide and killing him, allowing him to go back to his plans of making houndstooth meth.
In "Who Ate Wally's Waffles?", The Kingpin's houndstooth meth was already making headlines as Paradise P.D. and the FBI were butting heads in competition to crack it. Fitz feared Randall was coming too close to cracking the case so he called Thester up to plant a carbomb on his squad car. However, Kevin noticed the bomb before Randall got into it and stopped him, saving his life.
In "Who Ate Wally's Waffles?", The Kingpin made tons of money off of houndstooth meth but lost all of it, when Thester stupidly locked the money in a storage unit and didn't pay the rent, allowing Miss Geraldine to get the money and donate it all to the Catholic Church. The Kingpin led The Legion of Dooooom in fighting a Catholic priest for the money but the priest was too strong for them. After many failed fights with the priest, they were finally able to sneak the money back by having Jerry swallow the money without the priest knowing and escape with it. During this time, Randall discovered Fitz's evil plans and found out he was The Kingpin so The Kingpin had his corrupt FBI agent worker, Agent Clappers put him under house arrest at Robby and Delbert's crackhouse to keep him quiet.
In "Flip the Vote", The Kingpin, under the guise of Fitz, ran for mayor of Paradise during the 2020 election. The Kingpin and Karen battled for supremacy and relied on several dirty tricks and unethical ploys to win. The Kingpin went to Flipperville to get a market for flipper people to vote for him. However, currently acting mayor Karen made it official that flipper people were not official citizens of Paradise. Since he was a Paradise citizen and all of the flipper people were the offspring of the same Dolphin Queen, The Kingpin was able to green-card them in by marrying the dolphin queen. In the end, the only person to vote was Kevin, who voted for Fitz, not knowing he was evil and believing his mom to be unworthy of mayorship due to her unethical behavior. As the mayor, The Kingpin revealed his true self to the citizens and ordered his minions to kill the Paradise P.D. cops and Karen. The cops and Karen escaped town and fled to Brickleberry National Park to lay low but The Kingpin still wanted them kidnapped and killed.
In "Paradise PD Meets Brickleberry", The Kingpin ordered Thester to go out and find the cops and Karen.
In "Operation DD", Thester found Karen and the cops and betrayed The Kingpin by revealing to them that he was a good person and explaining the whole story about The Kingpin's past and Fitz's multiple personality disorder. Karen and the cops teamed up with Thester to take him down. They infiltrated The Kingpin's lair and got kidnapped by him. The Kingpin explained that his plan, "Operation: D.D." stood for "Operation: Deep Dish" and he planned to turn Paradise into a giant pizza as revenge for him not getting a Chicago style deep dish pizza back in 2014. The Kingpin blew up a dam and sent a flood of pizza sauce into the town, blew up giant cheese bombs, and ordered helicopters to drop giant wheels of cheese onto the town. He was going to "cook" the town by firing nukes at it and set a timer for 20 minutes, counting down to doomsday.
Defeat[]
After knocking The Kingpin out in battle, Kevin used a brain device to transport himself into Fitz's brain and get him out of his mental prison so he could take control of his body again. In Fitz's brain, a mental version of The Kingpin came up to fight with Fitz and send him back to prison. However, Kevin reminded Fitz that because this is his imagination, he is in full control there, so Fitz turned himself into a giant superhero and destroyed the mental version of The Kingpin for good and then woke himself and Kevin up, now having 100% full control over his body.
Despite defeating The Kingpin, they still hadn't defused the nuclear bomb launchers. When they tried to use Fitz's retinal scan to defuse it, a video message from The Kingpin came up, saying that he assumed they would defeat him and try to use his host body to undo his damage, so he disabled the retinal scan deactivation device, making it impossible for them to stop the nukes and with that, the nukes landed on Paradise and blew them all up, making The Kingpin succeed at his evil plans.
