- Hopson is depicted in the hidden extension of The Scream, sucking the screaming man off. Apparently, back in 1893, Edvard Munch actually painted a picture of him performing fellatio on some random guy in Åsgårdsstrand.
- The painting's original title was "Hopson Blowing Alien Wizard".
- Lovely Phones have a feature called "Vlad", which is essentially a Russian version of Siri.
